Since the 2021 pandemic, Lighthouse has launched an online learning programme that teaches English. There are 20 SK Methodist students who have registered overall. They are split into two age groups: 8 to 9 and 10 to 11 years old. Once the students are seated for the online lesson hosted in our centre, we also provide tablets for them.

Through the online class, we still believe that we can provide interactive and fun learning studies with opportunities for children to practise speaking and listening as well as reading and writing. This can include virtual games, group discussions, and online resources such as videos and podcasts. It’s important to ensure that the children have access to support and resources to help them succeed in the programme. This can include access to tutors or mentors, online resources such as dictionaries and grammar guides, and support from the programme staff or community leaders.
