Sarawak, the Land of the Hornbill, known for its rainforest, hornbills and pristine rivers is also the largest region in Malaysia. Endowed with rich natural resources and a vibrant population of 2.9 million is fast gaining importance to the nation’s wellbeing and a strategic regional economic powerhouse.
Modernization and development (from a traditionally rural based history) demands skilful empowering transformation in:

• Shaping the human capital to meet the new challenges.
Lighthouse of Hope, Sarawak started at the very heartland of Sarawak in Kapit Town, Kapit Division (the home of the country’s largest indigenous people’s group, the Ibans).
Its core aim is in seeking to bring transformation of mind, soul and heart of the NextGeneration to achieve its true potentials and in facing challenges of the 21st century.
This includes youth, community, family, social and economic development through engaging and empowering transformational processes.
What We Do
Develop and empower students and youths in character building, vocation development and training, and promoting healthy lifestyle
To bring transformational processes to meet the challenges in living and social conditions, crisis and changing trends
To encourage, support, and develop economic self-sufficiency and financial independence
Where We Work
Educational empowerment and enhanced programs (eg. STEM, English, Project Baca, library books ), resources and cocurricular activities (eg. sports, music, arts , flying club, drone ) will impact the NextGeneration with wholesome resolve preparedness to face the millennial challenges.
Engaging and empowering the local communities with a view to seek solutions that would contribute positively to the economy, environment and nation building.
Empowering women to promote and develop strong family values, as well as to contribute their talents and potential to nation-building.
Unifying and mobilizing local communities with timely purpose to respond to emergencies arising from natural disasters, catastrophes and social issues and challenges facing the community at large.
Empowering community to self-create value chains for their local produces and services, innovating with digital business models to a constantly changing environment.
